5 reasons I love my Twitter followers

What makes Twitter followers special?  It’s exciting hitting a nice round number (but oh the suspense when you are balancing on the cusp!) but that doesn’t exactly put bread on the table – or does it?  Here’s why I love my Twitter followers:

  • It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling to think that what I’m publishing matters.  Twitter is a great barometer of when I’ve hit the mark with a blog or a news item – and helps me tailor what I do so I’m improving my service to clients all the time.
  • New followers open up new pathways.  I find myself connected to some amazing people with great businesses and stories to tell.  Twitter is a place to learn from others.
  • Interacting on Twitter is like being at a party where everyone is ready to talk.  It’s easy to strike up a conversation, and you never know where it will lead.
  • Twitter is a hoot.  The best jokes, the sharpest wits, an environment where the one-liner (or at least the 140 character!) is king.
  • It’s a ripple effect – you are the best advertisement for what we do!  A retweet, a mention, a visit to my website – all recommendations to YOUR wonderful followers that I’m worth a look.  And it goes both ways – followers and followed work together to build momentum, build business, and achieve success.

Let’s keep those ripples going!  Here’s to my next hundred followers.
